For those who might be interested, I found a great reference book at B&N titled: "Today's Military Wife - 4th Edition by Lydia Sloan Cline
It has alot of practical and current information about the military life, benefits, housing info, dependents, healthcare ins, finances,PCS moves, resources etc... just the gamut of topics that can help ease the transition from civilian life. Although it's mainly for spouses, it's a good reference material for the prospective servicemember as well.
