Ok, looking for a good book that chronicles flight school. I read one a couple years back but it's gone kind of fuzzy in the head and just wanted to read another one. Thanks in advance.

A few ideas...

"Air Warriors" by Douglas Waller is probably the best choice, it starts off at API and ends at an F-18 RAG. Great book, but heavily slanted towards jets, and also has 50+ pages about sexual harassment/PC issues. It's also about 10 years old.

"Bogeys and Bandits" by Robert Gandt is probably my fave book of all time, it's solely set in an F-18 RAG. This book is also rougly a decade old.

I recently saw some book called "Viper Pilot" by Peter Allenshire (?) that was basically the same as Air Warriors, but on the USAF side. It was more of a picture book, and i dunno how accurate it is b/c a good deal of the pictures were obviously taken in the 80's.

I promise I'm not an antisocial nerd... I travel alot, so I read alot to pass the time...
Anyone know of any books about props/helos?
