Hey,

If you guys had girlfriends or significant others before joining the Marines, how did it go after you joined, relationship-wise? And what did your girlfriends do that was the most supportive / helpful, and what was the least supportive? I want to be totally supportive of this great guy who wants to join, so I was wondering what your experiences were like. Also, did your relationships last over the long distance and time-frame? Any replies would be greatly appreciated! Thanks :).
