Getting the FAA Part 107 to beef up package?

Searched around but couldn't find anything, however, did find this thread on Reddit regarding AF OTS

Right now, I am taking a winter class that goes over everything you need to know in order to get your FAA Part 107 commercial drone license. Would having this FAA rating look good on an SNA/SNFO package? Or is it something they won't care about like flight hours?

Put more focus on doing well on the ASTB than getting certs.

There’s a reason you don’t see much about civilian aviation experience and certs on the aviation program authorization.

The Part 107 UAS certificate is easily obtained with a simple online test after receiving Commercial ASEL. As far as Navy is concerned, your ASTB and GPA are likely more productive investments. For AF ANG or Reserves OTS to UPT, a good addition to your package...
