Getting in to the Academy

Civil Air Patrol (the organization that runs said orientation flights) has a program that will allow cadets (kids 12 to 21) to earn their PPL at little to no cost. If the PPL is something you're set on, don't take no for an answer. Just thought I'd point that out. In fact, here's a link to the Civil Air Patrol website: http://govcivilairpatrol.com
