Has anyone heard anything about the selection board for FY06 MECEP? Last year, the MarAdmin came out September 15....this year, still nothing. Just getting a little anxious...

The year I got in it came out mid-October. Just give it a little more time. Hope the results turn out in your favor.
Historically:
FY05 results released on 30 November 2004
FY04 results released on 1 December 2003
FY03 results released on 9 October 2002
FY02 results released on 18 October 2001
Before that, the results were released around the last week of December or first week of January.

The suspense is killing me !!!
I found out on Sept. 15th when I got accepted for FY05

I'm asking for my husband - he's a Sgt, his MOS is 6073, he's 26. He has a 3.9 GPA in his college classes to date, a first class pft, and his recommendations looked beautiful. The recommendation letter from his CO was great, and the one from the Wing Commander was even better - it said my husband was in the "top 10% of all MECEP applicants" he had ever seen, and was "a must select." We thought the results would be out on Sept. 15 like FY05 results...especially since this year the board met a day earlier. Then we heard the results for FY06 would be out on the last day of September.
Anyone else here waiting for the results? Did I say his stats right?

Now comes the sorriest 9 months ever, while you (or he) wait(s) to go to MECEP Prep.
Edit: BTW, Crowbar and KBayDog are excellent resources for all things MECEP, when I got selected, I PM'd them and they really gave me a lot of valuable information.

Thanks! I'll have my husband register on this site, too. He'll love having people to ask. People who went to MECEP seem to be legend around here - you hear of them, but never see them.
