Friend looking for apt in Mayport area. Cheap

A friend of mine just got hired on as a civilian working for MWR at NS Mayport. Recent college grad, and the job don't pay that much so she's looking to be close to work and cheap.

Looking for reasonable safe area, either in the beaches proper or say Hodges and East of there. $500/mo range.

If there's anything that people know of, post or PM me.

I've been out of the area long enough that I don't know where the popular places to live and where the shitholes are anymore.

Friend is 23, single woman, no pets just for a baseline of giving people an idea of who I am asking for.

I do not think she will be able to find a place on the beach for that price. In order for her to keep the price low she is going to either have to get a roommate or look closer to base, however as you know that will come with a sacrifice in the safety aspect. I will keep my eyes open though
