I love how the one guy just leaves his weapon stuck in the mud and throws up his hands before going to pick it up.

Question: If they were supposed to be filming these guys "storming the beach" then why would they pick a beach that they didn't know the conditions of?... or did they know this would happen? Isn't this why you have combat swimmers recon a beach before hand?

Concur with Brett, those are British troops not French, look at the rifles and uniforms. Still a funny video.

They are British Royal Marines.

It's bee posted a few times in the deep past, that's the only reason I know.

They are British, but not Royal Marines. They are some Army engineer outfit who decided to make a home video, someplace near Basra. However they did ask the Royal Marines where a good place to shoot it would be.

The RM, being helpful of course, showed them somewhere suitable...
