Anyone here gotten to fly with a parent who is a military aviator? I actually got to "log some time" in a Coast Guard HH65 when I graduated HS in '97. (helps when your dad is the XO)
One of the best times of my life...flew out into the Gulf..looked for out of season shrimpers. Pretty cool when you can't see the beach anymore. And there are THOUSANDS of oil rigs out there...like a city. But the best part was that I actually flew for two hours. As much as I want to be a strike pilot...helos will always have a special place in my heart.
