Florida Military Gold License

If you live in Florida, and are active duty or retired, you qualify for the Florida Military Gold license.

It covers freshwater and saltwater fishing and also hunting. No additional stamps are required (for example, during snook season, to keep a slot snook you are required to have a snook stamp on your saltwater license.)

It's exactly the same as the Florida Sportsmans Gold licence, only it costs $20.00 instead of 83 dollars

Only catch is the only place you can get one / renew one is at a Florida Tax Collectors Office (Tag Office)

Sweet. No more non-res licenses for me. You have no idea how much this bit of info helps out a guy from south Georgia who can't get enough fishing on the flats.

If you haven't completed a hunter safety course previously, you'll have to do one online to fulfill that requirement for the license.

The course is very simple and takes less than an hour to complete. You then have to get the web course certificate notarized and mailed in, and your hunter safety completion card will come in a few weeks.
