Just out of curiosity, for those of you who have gone through it, how does the vision test at NAMI compare to those you've taken in the past. It seems to me that some eye charts are relatively easier because of lighting and such. And how about the cycloplegic solution; did it seem to affect your vision one way or the other? Much obliged for any responses.

Does the solution effect you vission? yes- get a ride hpme, dont drive. all you see is fuzz and glare for a while. as for the test- its all more of the same.

That kills me. There are drops that reverse that effect that have been around for over 10 years. When I took my initial military physical for scholarships 10 years ago I was told they didn't use the reversal drops because they were "experimental." I had the same check done a month later by a civilian doc and my eyes were back to normal within 10 min of taking the test.

I will be taking a flight physical in Miramar on Tuesday and am just wondering what exactly it entails, more specifically will I have to duck walk and such? Any other details would be nice too though. It is a concern for me because recently, in trying to prepare myself for Marine OCS, I severely strained a muscle while running and so I need to know if I should reschedule. My OSO doesn't seem to know (just in case someone suggests that I ask him :)). Thank you in advance.
