Finding a "lost" friend...

Well, I'm sure he knows where he is...so technically not lost...but we have lost touch.

Does anyone know how to get in touch with Navy personnel when you don't have their email or snail-mail address to contact?

The "buddy finder" on military.com doesn't list him.

I'm sorry if this question has been asked/answered before...just point me towards the correct thread as I didn't know what to search under.

(BTW, he's a USNA grad...1985ish...and was in the Blue Angels around 2004)

Thanks all :)

You can try usna.com. It's the alumni association site. They have a memebr look up, but you may have to be alumni to use it.

Have you tried googling his name? If he was in the blues, theres a good chance his name will pop up. From there you might be able to glean his present command, and from there you might be able to get a contact for him or someone in his command. It's worked for me once or twice.

Also navy knowledge online has a member search feature, with email addresses and phone numbers.

If you are on Satan's Internet (NMCI), you can try the "Homeport" and go to Navy-Marine Whitepages. Their search engine is better than the "global" that is on Outlook.

Thanks...those are all great ideas.

Any thoughts on searches for those of us that aren't in the Navy yet? :)

I've tried google and it leads me to the press releases from 2002-2004 but nothing more recent.
