Fighter Fling '91

Pretty sure either fighter fling was cancelled or much reduced in '91 because of Tailhook '91! Any Navy guys here around that time know for sure?
 
There was a picture of a Las Vegas Hilton sign and the "girl from Ipanema" elevator music was playing as the screen scrolled something like....

"Due to lack of interest, this year's Tailhook Convention was cancelled."

That was it....
