I was browsing through an online store that sells Marine Corp PT gear, clothing, and memorabilia and came across this. page they have up there. I felt compared to share it as a few of the stories told here are real tearjerkers.

I am not yet in the military, but things like this make the wait to join seem like an eternity. I can't wait to join my brothers and sisters in defending our freedom.

I love the letter about the Germany destroyer rendering honors by displaying the American flag at half-mast. Almost breathetaking.

Yeah, the German ship letter is probably my favorite too. Next to that probably a tossup between the Memorial Day account, and the civilian account of riding home with Marines from Iraq.
