Hey all,

Just a question I'd like to pop in here:

I know the Navy has requirements on eye surgery and flying jets, however, will they allow someone to get laser surgury and fly other planes (cargo, etc)? Also, would that job suck and/or could it lead to a career with an airline?

Short Answer: Yes, you can get PRK (a type of laser eye surgery) and fly any naval aircraft.

Do a search on the site, you'll find tons of info.

There are couple of guys that graduated or are graduating from my ROTC unit that got PRK done and are SNAs.
