EOD, Diver, SWCC Source Ratings?

Was not really sure where to put this...

Yeah. I've been giving some serious thought to enlisting, and was looking at these communities. I've seen various versions of the source ratings list for both, and I'm wondering if anyone knows what they currently, actually are. I understand that you could retrain later to a required rating later, but I would assume the Navy would rather not do that.

Any sagely advice is greatly appreciated.

When you go to MEPS they will make sure they give you a source rating so don't worry so much about that. The biggest concern you should have is getting a guaranteed spot at one of the schools. I believe its called the divefarer program. Good luck! Oh, i was a Gunner's Mate (GM) and loved it. Go Deep Sea, its a blast!

Its called the EOD Challenge program now. You can get some specific info at http://www.npc.navy.mil/Enlisted/SEAL/

There is EOD, Diver and SWCC info at this link. Look on the right side under each program and click on the warning order for detailed info on each. Source rating, testing and all requirements are there. If you have any questions after you read the info feel free to ask.

Where did you see that? Maybe I can clarify what they are talking about.
