Everyone heading for NAS Pensacola and NASWF I would encourage you to avoid the Meadowrun apartment complex in Pensacola (on olive). So far I have had 4 water leaks from internal plumbing, one from the outside due to negligent maintenance (this one got my gunsafe nice and rusty as it was a slow leak I didnt catch). I have had a bug infestation that took out a nice suit. I had to do my own exterminating to get rid of the pests as the complex was incompetent. And since the new runway at KPNS opened we have the jetliners overhead at about 500 ft on a regular basis! The manager is an absolutely rude person, I would never do business with this complex or any other owned by the company (of course I cannot seem to find out who that company is). Just my two cents to save you big bucks!

Roger. Thanks for the heads up. I would absolutely let the staff know you have this outlet (AW) and will make VERY public that their place sucks and to either play fair or you'll keep a TON of tennants out of their place. It may do nothing, but some more ammo to help you get them to take action.

Careful with that, you don't want to go in there guns blazing that you are going to ruin them if they don't shape up. You don't want to seem like you are trying to blackmail them.

Right. But if you go about asking politely for something they are REQUIRED to do, or at least SHOULD do (reasonable request) and they are rude and refuse (as it sounds as if they were) and repeatedly treat you like crap, you can simply explain that you know many people who would benefit from knowing the quality of the staff and living spaces of the place and that you'll be letting everyone know of your experience.

My point is use it as a last resort and less of a threat or blackmail, but rather as an after-the-fact critique. Maybe with the next person they won't be such dicks.

Besides, what I am talking about seems to be the entire point of this thread. Bravo! :)

Might if the e-buddies are prospective renters.

Side note: what new runway at KPNS? Have I been gone that long?
