I've been checking it out and something about it confuses me. I wanted to see what the results are for different numbers of years of reserve service after active duty. I found that the total package jumps significantly after 20 years for BRS. Why is that? Is the DoD still applying traditional pension rules if you continue to 20 despite opting for BRS?
