If anyone hasn't watched it I'd highly recommend it. Just when you think we've got it rough it's a nice reminder that it could be worse. I've seen three parts to this series so far and I'd imagine there are more. The first 3 parts take you up to the beginning of week 3 "Hell Week" and they've already lost more than half the class. At the end they tell you that they'll lose half of those remaining during the week. The show was extra cool for me because 2 of my classmates from OCS happen to be in the class. I almost feel guilty for watching them get abused I'd hate to think that they were sitting and watching me sweat, stress and vomit through my training! Although I'd imagine that some of the abuse that can be dished out in the "House of Pain" (sim building) would make good television.

It's amazing to hear some of the stories from BUDs. Two of my OCS classmates went through SEAL training and now one is at NAS Pensacola for NFO training. Imagine that... a pair of gold wings over a gold budweiser! One thing that I found interesting is that neither one really cared much for OCS at first. They didn't like how structured it was (compared to their units, where young officers and the enlisted were treated as peers). Of course each breezed through and have now moved on into their respective careers (the other is in Little Creek as a SEAL officer).
