I hope I am not the only one! Does anyone else here suffer from constantly worrying about every little thing that could trip you up in your pursuit of your wings of gold? Does this advanced state of worry cause you to spend endless hours searching a certain website for every conceivable problem that may or may not occur?
Do you spend countless hours searching any one of the following? [check all that apply (oh S**t i checked them all, ahhh...then you are f****d): application issues, medical issues, ASTB, PRT, Interviews, EPSQ, OCS, API, Primary, Track Selection, ect...
The real nasty part is if you did not have any medical issues before awaiting your next segment of training you may actually develop them through this manifested state of worry by perhaps: looking at a computer screen for hours causing your vision to go to hell, developing an ulcer reading about other people's nightmare scenarios, carpule (sp?) tunnel issues due to frantic typing caused by this immediate urge to settle this next anxiety causing question involving your ulcer situation, scoliosis due to your constant leaning over looking at a screen, high blood pressure because who knows what could happen when Murphy's out there (S**t, S**t), sleep deprovation causing hallucinations in which you swear someone you just read about got axed because they admited they had in fact hallucinated while suffering from prolonged sleep depravation due to their deep seated worry brought on by reading several nightmare scenario's in which the applicant was tested for anxiety issues-that he failed because he was consantly reading about people with loosely related problems and last but not least developing acute airworry'r's skitzoid peranoid delusions of catostrophic grandure which may or may not hurt your security clearance...no certainty unless somebody from the EPSQ service is reading your post, then you may have to worry because who knows how they perceive what you post (did you mention this problem because if you did not, and they found out you were anything but 100% truthfull, they may or may not send you to a pound you in the A** prison....ohh god do they give you a lie detector because you have in fact had one or more of these problems because you did read this post...about where this guy was wondering if others suffer from worry, which means you must be worried because you did read about it, right??).

Seriously does anyone know how to stop worrying about their Wings of Gold? I wonder if there is a way I could put myself under a trance like in Office Space. God I hope I could get myself out of the trance before I get to OCS...S**t, S**t what if this is..... ??!!

Man the wait for a reply is killing me please reply people please reply!!!!!

I hear you on that. I am constantly worrying about different stuff. Will I be NPQ for any reason? I have an arm band tattoo and I told the guy that put it on to put it on high on my arm so it wouldn’t be visible with my shirt on. I still worry that that will disqualify me. But I tend to be a worrier so I’d do it even if I had nothing to worry about.

As crude as Michael’s point was there is something to worry about. Not necessarily enough to lose any sleep over though. When you go to these physicals and other test they aren’t looking for stuff they like about you, there looking for a reason to get rid of you.

"Stress is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do but doesn't get you anywhere. Write that down." I know it's hard, but seriously, try not to stress to much now. When you get into the program and actually start training there will be plenty to stress about.

Like Worm said,
Jack Daniels and Copenhagen. Then, if you do get accepted, you'll already have two well-developed habits essential to aviators.

if there was ever anything that i felt the program was lacking it was people stressing over every little thing.

I started this thread as a jab at all the worry worts on this site (including at times myself). I was highly exagerating everything. This is by no way a diss to this website and everyone on it as this site has been invaluable to me. Later......
