UPDATE: Tucson man dies when small plane crashes near Safford
No information about the pilot or the possible cause of the crash was immediately available, but the crash is being investigated.
Just wanted to spread the word about a former Naval Aviator who passed recently while flying his experimental aircraft. He was awesome. At 79, everyday he would take his plane out and fly and do aerobatics. That was his thing.
Great guy and human being.
