Current CO HST Dies Suddenly

I saw this article earlier this am. He was the XO of the Ike when I was on there back in '07. Definitely was a character (in a good way). I'm wondering if Big Navy is going to have to pull a former CVN CO back for another CO tour.
 
He was a great guy...and the XO has assumed command. Navy screwed up big time when they passed the HST's former CO over...Either way, the Truman is a strong ship with great leaders...they'll rebound well from this.

Tough blow to the crew. I know the big XO, Clap. He will carry the torch and fill the void as well as anyone.

I met him around the squadron once or twice a few months ago, definitely seemed like an awesome guy.
