crime areas in primary

Can I talk to you, Michael?

I never realized considered crime when choosing a primary location. I just read about a Vette under attack in the "nice" and expensive part of Corpus.

I plan on getting a nicer car (I drive a "classic" right now) but would rather not have to deal with the heartbreak of my car coming under attack as its parked outfront.

Your thoughts? I know the Navy ultimately decides, but I'd like to know about how common cars are broken into \ messed up etc. in the various Primary locations.

Random **** can happen anywhere... if your that concerned about a car getting vandilized, leave it on the showroom floor- or spend the extra $$$ to get a place with a garage and park it in the least sketchy place when you go out- or take a cab. That being said, i only know of a few people who have had things happen to their cars in flight school.

Everyone leave, I have to poop. NOW!!!
Whiting seems fairly safe, as long as you put a rebel flag sticker on your bumper. With that, you'll fit right in down here...

Parts of Corpus are bad, but than again so are parts of a lots of places. Its been said that robberies out of Bay Point keep some of the local pawn shops in the black..... Then again, I live out on the island and there's a classic Porsche and a nice BMW parked out on the street at my complex and nothing bad has happened.

Been there, done that.
Corpus has a relatively low crime rate, probally about equal to other primary locations. Chances of getting your home broken into are 'bout nothing. Anyone who parks their car at Padre Staples Mall in Corpus is risking theft though. Wherever you go you should get a good car alarm. We got a new 2-way alarm and love it.
