Hey just found this lying around thought some of you may enjoy it... pretty cool to see some jet aerobatics... also at the end it shows the vortices on the wingtips at landing its pretty cool to see the little tornado

I'll let you know before everyone here tells you in their own way. It's aerobatics. Planes aren't meant to be doing acrobatics, that's for gymnasts

Awesome vid! Lucky European guys get to buzz little villages and play chicken with the Alps. Must be awesome flying. Puts my middle-of-the nowhere open water flying to shame.

Repost, but it is a great vid. If you want some cool mountain low level flying, come on up to Whidbey (or Alaska for that matter), where we do stuff like that every day.

Yeah, I know the terrain you're talking about, truly beautiful. My brother is a Prowler guy up there. He sends pictures from time to time, like some taken from a mountain top looking DOWN upon a Prowler zooming by. Also got a chance to meet one of the guys who ejected recently (last year?) out there, though they came down in some relatively smooth terrain I believe - somebody's farm maybe.

Just curious how many times somebody's tried to do a low-level at Deception Pass (without losing their wings, that is)!

I've only heard of rumors of such things from the vietnam era. Nothing confirmed as far as I know. I think it's probably an urban legend, at least in the era of modern jets. It would be a pretty tall order to pull off.
