Found this on another forum. My computer had been getting slower and slower despite both anti-virus and daily cleanings with Spybot. www.ccleaner.com It is free (although they do ask for donations). Downloaded the program and it cleaned 493.8 MB of cr@p in under a minute. Computer is running much better. Thought I would pass this along.

And what are you trying to clean up after, visiting some sites you shouldn't? :D

Between Norton Antivirus and Zone Alarm PRO, I wonder where the speed on my computer goes to. Usually when I give it up, and reinstall my last Ghost image. Nothing like the speed of a fresh install.

What are your thoughts on Spybot? I have been using lavasoft's free Adaware.
