I did it...you just have to keep a full course load (12 credits). Switching schools is just a matter of filling out a single form with your OSO.
 
I was taking 12 units but in order to get a degree and get commisioned before I am 27 I am starting to take 18-24 units.

You won't be the only one who'll be doing that. It will be just more incentive for you to transfer and complete that degree!
