They will help... by paying you a salary from which you can make your loan payments.

Seriously, loan repayment programs do exist, but they are targeted at specialties that are hard to attract to the military, like critical care nurse or orthopedic surgeon. Qualified pilot/NFO applicants are a dime a dozen; there's no need to waive extra money in the face of those applicants.
