Great Pictures

Just joined the forum and saw that you were at the cleveland airshow. I was one of the pilots that flew in a superhornet for the weekend. We were a static display for the three day weekend. We had a hell of a time in Cleveland and are looking to come back again next year if we are not on deployment.

Got any more pictures of us (the static display) in your library of awesome pics?

Nice shots man... that is an awesome lens, I'm jelous. Not to take anything away from the photographers skill, but man you can really get close with that thing. PM me if you want and I'll send you a link to some airshow shots the 100-400 got.

I keep writing the Blue Angels when they come around to get a pass to be able to photograph the team as they set up etc. They always give out passes to the news media here. I always get reject replies saying I must be an accredited member of the media to be able to get up close etc. I can understand the logic as if they give out a pass to one guy they will have to accomodate everyone else who want to see it up close. Still though I think they should hand out an extra pass or 2 at each show for folks like me who would like to see things up close and record the images. Its not like I am asking for a press ride or anything. I will keep writing, maybe one day I will get a chance to photograph them.
