I'm a prior that was in BDCP and I have no clue what you are talking about. I don't know maybe its an admin thing. Why are you asking?

I was wondering for PRK information. The requirements and such change whether you are class I,II, or III

tali, I know exactly what you're talking about. But I'm still not sure if I can be of much help. I read through the literature for PRK waivers at the NAMI website, and I managed to get a vague idea of to what Class I, II, and III referred. What I managed to deduce through careful reading is that the classes refer to types of personnel and not specifically to their duty status. Class I are people directly in control of aircraft, i.e. SNAs. Class II are people that work in the aircraft, such as NFOs and aircrewman. Class III are folks that work in the aviation community but not directly with the aircraft, e.g. air traffic controllers and so forth. SO...you need to follow the directions for Class I. I don't think your BDCP status affects your waiver process.

Anyway, if I'm way off base here, hopefully someone will correct me.

I have been e-mailing navy personnel all day trying to figure out the rules for PRK while being BDCP and am still not clear on it. Guess the clear as mud thing applies to this.

Thanks for clearing it up a bit!
