christmas leave for SNFO's

I am due to get married around Dec. 21st unfortunatly:icon_tong, but I can't officially set a date for my fiancee to plan the wedding, because I am only in the API phase of my flight training, and I don't know the leave policies for the other squadrons. If anyone knows the leave policy over the christmas holiday for the follwing squadrons I may be in during that time, I would greatly appreciate it:
-562nd flying training squadron
-VT-86
-VAW-120 for E-2's
-VT-4/Vt-10
I believe I covered all the training squadrons through advanced for SNFO's, but if I missed any please let me know.

I know I will be pretty safe with setting the wedding date on the 21st of December, but I am just trying to confirm it. Thanks again because my fiance won't stop bugging me about setting a date :)

There is nothing "safe" about having a wedding date..

Wait until after your first workup/deployment cycle. Unless you like giving away 3/4 of your crap and a car payment each month...

I'm not going to go off on my standard tirade, but why make things any more difficult than they have to be? Wait until you get your wings, and tell your GF to fvcking relax if she knows what's good for her. Remember, "no" is the most powerful word in the English language - try using it once in a while. Don't let life wash over you.

From someone that chose (wisely, I think) to ignore Brett's advice, tell her to chillax about the date.

I'll give it to you this way: I wasn't 100% on the date till maybe 6-7 weeks prior to the wedding. I checked into VT-4 and right then asked if it were possible to get the weekend off. It all worked out, I got the weekend off and got married.

Based on the last 2 years, the 21st is questionable. This year, TW-6 got off on the 22nd I think. It all depends on how the dates fall.

though i agree with brett's comments wholeheartedly, to answer your question best would be to say that it is reasonable to assume you would be able to get that specific day off, which after looking is a Friday so why not do it on saturday the 22nd and be almost guaranteed to have that day off in any training unit? I will also say do NOT plan any type of extended honey moon during training.

Second what Evil said about the honeymoon thing... I got a one night honeymoon... Flew up on Thursday, rehersed on Friday, got married Saturday, flew back on Sunday, had duty on Monday.
