There is a place called Uncle Rocky's on Broadway, the guy who runs it is great, and will feed you till you pop. The place is BYOB, so it can keep costs down as well. Great food, and great people.

my buddy is from Newport and he always mentioned Carl's Cookout as the best.

Sardella's has the best damn Veal Saltimbocca I've ever had. Overall it's in my top 3 Italian restaurants, and their Musak system plays Frank Sinatra every other song (cliché, but still awesome).
