Super Feet...they changed my life. I know that Roadrunner Sports (in CA) sells them. They're also readily available via the internet, and can be cut down to fit properly. Order big.

Spenko is also a good choice - got me through OCS just fine. Make sure to get two pairs of inserts.

I always just used the Dr. Scholl's Advantage Sport inserts (even before OCS). I use them in my boots and my running shoes and love them. Just powder them every night at OCS to keep them from reeking of Smelly Gulley and replace them when they get worn out.

What about for people that have high arches like me? Will combat boots be fine for me or do I need to get some kinda insoles that are for high arches?

I once got a pair of running shoes that didn't have enough arch support and after a week of running my knees hurt so bad I could barely run. I don't want that happening when I get to OCS....

Like everyone says-go to a store that specializes in running. Places that come to mind are Roadrunner Sports and the medievil-themed 'Shoe Palace' in SoCal. I'm sure every city relatively close to established civilization has something similar. Insoles have made my limited boot-running experience much easier. With high arches, you'll (allegedly) be more prone to injury than others. Get it checked out and see what the shoe docs reccomend.
