Anyone here intending to go see them? I intend to go, so far I'm the only one I know going. If anyone here is intending to go, how about an Airwarriors gathering? a nice meet/greet, share a drink or two, and some lawn chair space for the show?

let me know, PM/email me and we'll exchange phone numbers and coordinate a good meeting spot.

edit: just got back from lunch with co-workers, on our way out, saw 2 of them in formation, looked like they were scouting landmarks. I couldn't help but get a HUGE grin across my face, and a slight adrenaline rush just from seeing them :)

...In Bellevue today and saw them as well --- I think that was exactly what they were doing --- scouting the course boundaries and landmarks.

I'm going to a private residence overlooking Stan Sayres on Saturday/Sunday. Ringside seat .... I'll wave at you .... :)

T-Man: speaking of Bellevue ..... saw Bill Russell @ Bellevue Square yesterday --- he's got to be pushing 70, but still looking good in his Panama Hat .... lost a lot of muscle from his playing days, but still looked very studly .... great smile :)

I was floating next to the I-90 bridge today, got some real good shots with my 400mm lens. I'll try and get them up here in the next few. I'm going to the MOF on saturday to get the Whole preflight/TO/Landing routine. Good times...

Well, I went to the show/races on saturday and it started out kinda gloomy (about a 500ft ceiling) but amazingly, right about the time the blues show'd up, the cloud cover just seemed to dissappear. Today (Sunday) I decided to head to the airport and watch the takeoff routine. As it turned out, I was able to get a few more shots of the show from this perspective on top of the takeoff routine. After that was done, I decided to go to the museum of flight and have a look around. I've uploaded all the photos I took. Here is a link, enjoy!
