Blue/Gold Crew Question

Searched, couldn't find.. and I couldn't get a hold of any of my nuke buddies.

So here's the question.. On SSBN/SSGNs, there's a Blue Crew and a Gold crew... how does that work with the CO/XO/COB? One of each for the boat or one for each crew?

Each crew has its own UIC and leadership. Two crews/one boat.

You forgot about the "other crew." It's never the blue or the gold's fault...it's always the other crew.

I was on the Kamehameha when I was a nub which was a conversion boat SSBN->SSN and thought it strange the first year I got my W-2 back and noticed it said "Blue." Now I was on that boat for almost two years and those sorry S.O.B.'s from the Gold crew never showed their faces.
