How long on average does it take to get your answer back once you've sent your package in? Pro-Rec I mean, not final.

It varies from a few weeks to several months. There's lots of discussion about this topic, you should do a search. You'll probably find all the info you ever wanted.

It also depends on what particular part of the Navy you are trying to get into.

Ok, so I get my app, LOR's, transcripts, etc...

That all goes in one package, and is either pro-rec'd or not. This wait is at least a month, but could be as much as 3 or 4.

Then if your pro-rec'd, you take the PFT, couple of physicals, etc? Then the combined package is finally considered and either accepted or not? This means after you put your paper app in, you have at least a month to buckle down and trim up a bit, final toutches physically?

Looking to finalize my paper app by the end of April, took the ASTB and am just waiting for LOR's to come in. Hoping I have at least a month before they put my physical condition to paper.
