BDCP and Getting Paid

Just being curious, but I just got my final selection today and go to swear in on next Wednesday (sign and turn in my direct deposit forms), when do the BDCP benefits kick in? Financially speaking, it would be helpful to know when that first paycheck comes....please don't take me as being greedy, I am just an "economically challenged" college kid who would love for that first check to pay next month's rent. Thanks.

It'll take about a month before you get any paychecks. In the meantime, go get your military ID and get enrolled in TRICARE. Congrats on the final select!
