Not that I don't have confidence in myself...but say you get accepted into a pilot slot through BDCP but at API they find you don't meet anthros...what happens? The NAVY has me for 4 years since I got $ from the BDCP, so what can I do to keep from sitting behind a desk for those 4 years? My uncle who was in the air force (no flaming please) knew a guy who had a similar thing happen and he wanted me to be aware and prepared. I'm a lil' concerned about anthros, especially the knee-buttock length...I'm around 5'6" but I have a really big skull...really U should see it...I'm considering renting advertising space on my forehead. What can I do to be prepared and as far as being an officer what else, close to flying, can I do?

hey guys,

my question is similar to the one posted above. should i get the dreaded nomi "whammie" for pilot, will i automatically get moved into the second choice i had listed on my application or will i be placed in a field in which the navy has a short supply? my second choice is civil engineer corps, and i would rather transfer into that than into some other community. I have a pilot slot as of now, but my biggest concern is getting screwed on one of the eye tests since i'm 20/40 in both eyes and won't be going to ocs until summer 2003. i'm not sure if this question might have been answered in one way or another on here before, however, i was just interested if anybody had any current info on it. it doesn't seem like my recruiter does. thanks again everyone.
