Axel and Slash are DJ's in Corpus

Either Corpus is still living in 1989 or Axel, Slash and the rest of the G-n-R crew have part time jobs at local stations.

I have never heard so much air time for guns and roses songs as I have here in Corpus. AT LEAST 3-4 songs a day are played. WTF? Dont get me wrong I like a little G-N-R every once in a while but this sh?t is crazy.

Texans and corpus natives please explain the lone star states love for G-n-R.

I noticed the same thing here in P-Cola. For years, I never heard GnR on the radio; now it's 2 or 3 times an hour. Of course, when I came here, it sorta felt like I'd timewarped back to around 1989...

You know, that company that owns almost all the radio station in america and spoon feeds people crap that they dictate to be 'cool again' or 'good music'.... in this case, it's the "cool again" motif... as for all the post-Black-album-Metallica... its "this is good music, you will listen to it and buy the crap cds"

Get an mp3 head unit. You'll never listen to the radio corporate crapfest again.

104.5 plays alot....and 107.3 i think is another of the guns lovers....overall 104.5 is one of the best classic rock stations i have listened to in a long time. It's weird hearing axel on a classic rock station...I think they jumped the gun on giving g-n-r airplay on a classic rock station.

The state of radio in corpus was pretty sad. Scary to think "Appetite" came out 17 years ago. But then again, what would you rather hear? "Welcome to the Jungle" or f*cking Boston "More than a Feeling"?

not worth the money at all!! That is unless you like talk or news radio. I was disapointed with it, got a couple of friends though who swear by it. I think they just like being the kids with the new gadget.

I have to agree with bch I have XM its isnt all I thought it would be no good classic rock station. the 80's station is ok and news is good but all in all it isnt that good.
