What Camelbaks packs are authorized to be used in the USMC? Can any be substituted in the fleet to take the part of the MOLLE and can larger Camelbaks be used for humps at TBS. I'm looking into getting one of the larger packs and was just curious about their use in the fleet. Thanks in advance.

You are issued a standard camelbak at TBS, something like 2 liters. Depending on your co/plt sop, you can usually use any od drab color camelback you want.

In the fleet you can use anyhting you want as long as it is a tactical color

I have one of the H.A.W.G. (woodland camo, 3 liter) that I bought in Kuwait in 95 that is still holding together. I used it in the T-34, TH-57 and now the 53E.

I don't know, I think many on this board would say it was the cruise sock.
