Although not much Known to most of the flying public, ATA has been around forever. They were once the largest charter airline in the world. Though they were not much like their former self, ATA going bust is a lot like Braniff or Eastern going belly up. Another sad day. There will be more I fear. Lots of talk about Frontier.

Combating TIP training AGAIN?!
Too bad ATA went under. The squadron Flash and I were in used to charter an L1011 for flights to the Mideast and they treated us pretty good. I remember waking up during one of the flights with a cute flight attendant (female) sleeping on my shoulder. Friendly service indeed! :D
