ASTBE attempts?

I know you get 3 lifetime attempts, but I heard a rumor that your attempts on the old ASTB don't count against the new one. That you get 3 new attempts for the new test. Is this at all true?

Yes if you took any of the old versions (prior to Dec 2012) it resets.

Yes if you took any of the old versions (prior to Dec 2012) it resets.

So even if I took the old forms of the ASTB but they were in 2013, they would count against my lifetime attempts?
