Here's a question for OCS grads:

Is Pensacola a nice town in which to have liberty? Is there much to do? Of course, I imagine that after weeks of regimentation liberty in Des Moines would seem great. Does Pensacola roll up its streets at dinnertime? Just want to have something to look forward to.

Not an OCS grad....
Pensacola is a good town... You got the beaches, the bars at the beaches and there are some bars in town as well.

Pain-in-the-dick
The people of Pensacola are used to OCS guys. I was there over thanksgiving '02, and was eating at Damon's that night with three of my classmates. An anonoymous couple gave our waiter 40 bucks toward our bill (we were in our summer whites). I'd say that's pretty friendly.
