Applying to multiple service branches

Is one allowed to apply to one or more branches of service at a given time? What if one has applied but got denied and is waiting for the reapply time period to pass, are the allowed to apply during that time as well? Thanks for your help with the question!

My understanding is that the Army doesn't know if you're Navy application was denied. So you can do it (I know people who have), but you are putting yourself in a wired position. What if you get a spot somewhere, but are waiting for results from somewhere else you want more? Apply for where you want. It just sounds a bit desperate to me.

Synixman, I could see where it would seem desperate but that's not the case at all. I am 3 classes short of Physician's Assistant school but I chose not to apply because I have no desire to go to grad school, so I am definitely not desperate. On the other hand I do want to serve and I want to fly I was considering going Army WOFT. I do appreciate your feedback though, I have a packet in for the May board for Navy OCS and of course I would take that first, but I was more less trying to keep my options open.
