Applying for FY25 Board but only available to ship on FY26 OCS Class

I am preparing to submit my package for the 13JAN2025 Supply Board, but my command said that the earliest they would be able to release me is July 2025. Does anyone know if that prevents the board on selecting me since I would be shipping for a 2026FY OCS Class ?
*Since the earliest ship date would be August that means I would graduate after OCT01.

FY24 ended September 30th. We are now in FY25...

If your recruiter says you can submit for a board, and you’ve told him/her all pertinent info, then submit. If you get selected, and you follow your recruiter’s instructions along the way, everything will get sorted out.

I’m trying to figure this out as well. I will be at the upcoming boards for SWO, IWC (IP) and supply. In my package I put earliest transfer May 2025, thinking I would have to wait regardless but now I’m wondering if that will factor in? I can leave within the next 2/3 months, do I need to contact someone and let them know or will the board let my CO decide my transfer date? Or will they reject me because of how far out i put my availability?

Are you saying that you are applying for the upcoming board but your command won’t release you till FY26? July is still FY25..? Also, if you get selected I believe depending on which designation you may be able to get your ship date pushed. I know for Supply there’s up to one year for hardship. Outside of that I’m not really sure.

Just keep in mind, according to the latest board schedule, 13Jan2025 Supply board has been closed already.

Just apply and hopefully get accepted. They will workout your release date with your CO. Hopefully, they speak about it with you before giving a date. Also, I had a buddy that was accepted before me that had to leave 3 weeks after receiving pro-rec Y.

I did, January board is now Closed. Release date shouldn't be a problem for the March board.
