i submitted my completed application package on monday last week. my recruiter told me i look good to go for the jan 28th or feb 6th ocs class. do you guys have a clue as to how long it will take to hear back? i'm pressed for time, as i will have to move my stuff out of colorado and be in atlanta for xmas. what are my chances? i had all 5s and 6s on the written test, a 3.3 gpa, passed the physical and prt, and no arrests/etc. i want to start making arrangements, but am afraid of getting ahead of myself.

My recruiter told me that it would be about 2-4 weeks after the submission of my application before I could expect to hear any definitive news.

Hey Adam,

My processing time took a total of a week and half tops...almost a week. I think it totally depends on how much they are considering at the time your app. comes in. My longest part of the wait was for the medical acceptance while the professional selection took only a few days so hopefully you will hear real soon..My recruiter let me know when the selection was done by the professional people and waiting on the medical and then heard the next day I was accepted so hear is hoping for your speedy application.

I've seen packages come back in a week (scott's) or a month and a half (mine). Depends on if anything is screwed up with your package, or if the guys in Milington screw it up. Stay on your recruiter about it. If something gets screwed up in Milington and they dont ask it could take a while. Trust me on that, I had the most screwed up package in history.

thanks for all the prompt replies. i talked to my recruiter today and he said he thinks he'll hear back this week or next. in the meantime i'm just working out and trying to memorize the big three.

...and then there's me. My application went out late august. But I'm trying to get a prk waiver, so that's delayed things a lot.

I'm working at a recruiting station right now, and most of oue aviation packages are taking 1 1/2 to 2 weeks.
