Away from all the strip malls and chaos of the town. Granted it makes coordinating to go out downtown at night a little hard. But I'd say having the beach right there for running and chilling was good.
LSUMarine said:I was in 28 and I got double pumped through the sims. I thought it was a good thing though as I finished the last 10 sims in a week. I got in there and got them over with instead of stretching them out for two weeks. Two sims took about the same amount of time as one actual flight, including the longer brief, maintainance, preflight, ect.. and its not like you have alot of new stuff to learn for each sim either, so the days weren't all that long. If RI's are clicking in your brain housing group, then I would suggest requesting to get double pumped through them. Of course that works both ways and if you have any problems don't hesitate to talk to your flight leader and get them to slow you down.
