apartment locator in jax

ive been accepted to JU and will be moving out there in august. does anyone know any good apartments in the arlington area or close proximity. also any good locators/ services?

I'm looking at the possibility of heading out there this summer. What can $1K/month get you within 15 min of NS Mayport? I'm too lazy to look at a bunch of craigslist ads, I'm just looking for an idea.

Go PM PropWife! She knows her stuff. If you don't know the area that well, you're in for some scary places, near the bases (both NAS and Mayport). We learned the hard way, when we moved to JAX in 2004. We've used a realtor everytime after that...

ill do that. i grew up in the jax area, still have family in mandarin but i have lived there in 10 years.

how is the arlington area now? good/ bad?
would living by the beach be too long of a drive if im attend JU?
