Anyone get an age waiver?

I read below someone was accepted but didn't get approved for an age waiver, just curious if anyone was successful, or if it's a lost cause at this point.

I was successful. I am 28 and will still be 28 at commissioning. From what I've been told .... 29 and up is more difficult.

Usually 28. If you're going to be 28 or younger at comissioning, you have a much better chance. Hoever, it's also a bit dependent on if you're air or ground. Air is less likely to grand age waivers, but ground is harder to get into right now.

What age do you actually need a waiver for? I am 26 and will still be at commisioning if I get in. Do I really need a waiver?

mccabe .... I think I addressed this to you on another site but incase I am wrong .... 27.5 is the Marine age limit for air (must be commissioned by). Being that you are and will still be 26 at commissioning you WILL NOT need an age waiver. Hope this helps.

Right now as of today I am 27 and Five months old, when i wget commisioned in Dec I will be 27 and Sebven months, I hope that gives you guys some hope, God has taken a likeing to us so keep your head up high. If you want it, it willhappen.
