I was wondering what we need to bring toiletry wise? Are shampoo and soap provided or do we need to pack up a few bars to bring with us? Are electric toothbrushes ok? I know no cologne and no deodorant over 3 oz, but what about hand lotion, band-aids, that kind of stuff?

Definitely bring soap to wash your nasty a$$ with. I brought shampoo and got made fun of so take it at your own risk. Your hair will soon be so short that you won't waste time with shampoo. Negative on the electric toothbrush/razor and bandaids. I think my deodorant might have been 3.25 oz and nobody said sh*t to me. Probably because they were too busy carrying the 14 oz bottle of shampoo around the room and telling my classmates what a jerkoff I was. Hand lotion, hmmmm...that's probably asking for trouble too. Whatever you do, don't be guy who brings condoms. I remember a guy who got nicknamed "Trojan man" on day one. The name stuck until he DOR'd. Poor guy!

You can try bringing the electric razor if you want. I used mine the whole way through, even during poopy week. That way I didn't have to fight for a sink. Even the hand lotion isn't too bad an idea, even if you get razzed for it. They are going to give you a hard time about something anyway. Everyone I knew had small cuts on their hands and cracks that lotion would have helped. Just don't bring the mega bottle, then you would be asking for trouble. You will be issued most of what you need during your poopy christmas, so don't over do it. What ever else you need, your class liason will get or escort you to get. All the extra stuff you bring just adds weight and is more to carry around. Common sense is the key.
