Any FY08 guys/gals planning on going to ODU?

FY08 STA-21 Pilot Selectee/Currently at ODU
I've already been accepted to ODU as that's where I want to go for my Bachelor's and I was wondering if there are any other selectees for FY08 that are planning on attending there?

I have applied, but not accepted anywhere yet. I've also applied to NC State, University of Utah, and Auburn University. My wife and I split up the duties...she's doing the education stuff, I'm taking care of the medical stuff. Calling this morning about the flight physical, and praying that my one in April can be modified for SNFO!

ODU is my third choice, behind University of North Florida (Very close, no move req'd), University of Memphis (close to my wife and I's original home)..

FY08 STA-21 Pilot Selectee/Currently at ODU
Yeah I had my offship interview board at the ROTC unit HQ over there and I was told that they currently have about 18 STA-21 selectees enrolled there and that their support system for us is really outstanding! Plus my ESO attended ODU and loved it (he was an FY04 selectee for SWO)...

I am currently enrolled at ODU and planning on attending there for STA-21. I should be able to finish my degree there in 2 terms on the degree plan I'm currently pursuing at ODU. Anyone else doing the GET (Electromechanical) degree at ODU? OneBadSSS, I can't make the "celebratory meeting" on the 13th but are you all still thinking of getting together for PT, etc? I'd be into that, it always helps to have people around to motivate you. Congrats on your selection too by the way.

Sure, I can always use more PT!! I'd also love the opportunity to talk to you some time about how you like the Engineering Technology degree program at ODU as that is one of the options I'm considering!

I'm currently finishing my last semester at ODU majoring in the GET program. It's not a good choice if you actually plan on working in the engineering field someday because the program is fairly new and not yet accredited by ABET. This could cause some issues when taking the FE and PE exams. Otherwise it is a great program and very flexible, especially if you’re pressed for time because of age restrictions. PM me if you would like any more information.

I am about to graduate this fall also, if any of you guys have any questions about the unit or anything let me know. There are about a million OC's here so help is not far away.

I was VERY close to applying to ODU, but decided to go to Denver or Salt Lake City (most likely Denver). I just thought ODU will have too many distractions. Heard good things about ODU though.

FY08 STA-21 Pilot Selectee/Currently at ODU
Well my degree plan is finished and I've sent both that and my acceptance letter to Pensacola! Hopefully that will ensure that I get assigned there since I haven't considered any other schools! All that's left now is my flight physical, which is this friday, so barring any problems there, I'll no longer be a "conditional" selectee as of next month!
